We have some exciting news! When we created Lovebox, one our core aims was to spur awesome conversation around great causes. Why? Well we felt this would encourage positive activity towards making a difference. Well, just a couple of months into our quest  - it seems you wonderful people are really making it happen! A few weeks back we heard from the the AperiTWeat team - they wanted to turn their event into a fundraiser for Endometriosis UK and asked if they could have a Lovebox for the cause. The answer was, of course a collective ‘Damn right you can!’. So it’s official now…we will be partnering with AperiTWeat for their 3.0 Aperitivo at Viva Verdi on the 18th of August. Eager to come to it?

Of course AperiTWeat will, as always, be an event full of interesting people to have meet over some great drinks and fantastic complimentary nibbles. The only difference is the event will be Loveboxed to support Endometriosis UK.

Endometriosis UK is a charity in support of Endometriosis, which is a medical condition that affects women. There’s a lot of research going on to understand the reasons for this to occur and affect women, but still no reasons have been identified as certain, nor much awareness. The condition itself is not visible without specific analysis and it can be quite painful, too. It is essential that awareness is raised so we are all ready to make that happen.

The AperiTWeat team have been awesome in doing this and we thank them for this. It shows how a fun event can be Loveboxed to make a difference. On the night you will be able to donate to support the cause and by changing your avator to raise awareness for Endometriosis UK.
